- Indore-based edtech startup ClassMonitor has taken an online-offline approach to learning for preschoolers. It has over 30,000 registered users on its app.
- In March 2016, Vijeet and Vikas launched ClassMonitor as a messaging platform for parents and teachers. It aimed to be a replacement for chaotic and spammy WhatsApp, and streamline communication between both parties.
- In October 2018, it pivoted from a communication platform to a hybrid early learning tool that marries offline learning with digital cues and rewards. Essentially, ClassMonitor built an O2O model in edtech.

- The Messy Corner (TMC) was founded in 2015 by siblings Aayush and Aanchal Poddar The founders initially invested Rs 10 lakh in the business. Since then, it has been transferring back all the profits back into the business.
- The Messy Corner currently is a 20-member team, including full-time employees and freelancers.
- The startup designs its products in-house. It sources the raw materials from local markets in Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai, and manufactures the products at TMC’s factory in Vasai, Mumbai, which was set up in 2015.

- The website currently has over 70 categories, including gadgets, real estate, motorbikes, cars, and clothing.

- Founded in 2014 by two brothers, Kush Beejal and Love Beejal , NeoStencil is an online platform that live-streams coaching classes to prepare for government and competitive exams such as UPSC, GATE, Judiciary, NET, JEE, and NEET.
- The startup currently has around 150,000 active users preparing on the platform, with paid users comprising 10 percent of this user base.
- Gurugram-based live online education platform NeoStencil is among the startups vying for a piece of the e-learning pie. The edtech startup claims to have doubled its partnerships, joining hands with a 100 institutes within three months of the lockdown as compared to its earlier base of 50 institutes (enrolled over five years).

- Amidst the pandemic, Chennai-based Modulus Housing is looking to solve the problem of hospital infrastructure through mediCAB, its instant and portable hospital units.
- Founded in 2018 by IIT-Madras alumni, Modulus Housing has developed a plug-and-play ‘hospital-in-box’ solution, which includes an isolation ward, screening centre, and an intensive care unit, and can be set up in two hours.
- The CEO adds that the startup has already deployed its first unit earlier this month in Wayanad district in Kerala and has begun its pilot. The deployment in Kerala was done using grant funds from US-based NGO Habitat for Humanity.
